Infusion Room

Hematology Oncology Associates, P.C. has a new Infusion Room to add to its already existing two Infusion Rooms.  The newer Infusion Room is located at our newest office, 2828 E. Barnett Road, Medford, Oregon. 

The Barnett Infusion Room can treat up to 25 patients at any one time.  The room is used to offer adult chemotherapy patients a comfortable and private place to receive treatment.  It includes flat screen televisions and wireless Internet connection.  The environment of the infusion room is significant and we pride ourselves on creating a tranquil, beautiful, and spacious space with a view of our waterfall, ponds and patio area, as well as a panoramic view of the Siskiyou mountains.

Our nurses are specially trained in oncology and provide compassionate, caring and an understanding approach to each patient and their special needs.  We provide the same care to all three of our facilities and our nurses rotate between them to insure the same care is consistent. 

Our hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.  Treatments my vary in complexity from a single injection to six hour treatments.  Please bring someone who can help you drive to your appointment and also help you back home.  If you are here through the lunch hour you may want to bring your own food or visit our Bistro (Espresso Yourself – Barnett office only).  Please be aware of strong smells (perfume, food) that can cause patients to feel ill.  Also we do not allow children under age 14 to accompany patients.  Usually only two visitors per patient at any one time helps keep the space needed for the nurses to attend to the patients.
