Physician Assistants
Physician Assistants (PA-C) provide health-care services within the adult clinical setting with the supervision of the Hematology Oncology Associates physicians. Working as members of the health-care team, they take medical histories, examine patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays, make diagnoses, initiate treatment plans and write progress notes, instruct and counsel patients, and order or perform therapeutic services. They are an integral part of the multidisplinary team.
